Apart from these, sub-sections including ‘Why can we need Local Governments?’ and ‘Growth of government in India’ have also been faraway from the curriculum. These topics won't be accessed in themselves but teachers are asked to elucidate to the scholars of their relevance with reference to existing topics.

The Central Board of education (CBSE) is probably going to announce Class 10 and sophistication 12 board exams results 2020 based upon the assessment scheme by July 15. The official announcement was made last month after the CBSE had decided to cancel the exams of 10th and 12th classes scheduled between Dominion Day and 15 because the country deals with coronavirus pandemic. The CBSE had started the evaluation process of already conducted papers on May 10. This year, the solution sheets were moved from 3,000 designated schools to the residences of qualified evaluators who checked them from their homes. Nearly 1.5 crore answer sheets in 173 subjects were sent for evaluation.

The deletions were made on the direction of the HRD ministry which asked the CBSE to scale back the syllabus for classes 9 to 12 by 30 per cent to form up for the tutorial loss caused by the pandemic and therefore the subsequent closure of faculties Considering the importance of learning achievement in the class 12th is important base in student lifes, it's been decided to rationalize syllabus up to 30 per cent by retaining the core concepts about it,” HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal wrote in his tweet to reduce the cbse class 12th syllabus. “Looking at the extraordinary condition of covid-19 in the world prevailing within the country and therefore the world, #CBSE was advised to revise the curriculum and reduce course load for the scholars of sophistication 9th to 12th,” he added. In a politician statement, the CBSE said, “The Heads of faculties and Teachers may make sure that the topics that are reduced also are explained to the scholars to the extent required to connect different topics. However, the reduced syllabus won't be a part of the topics for Internal Assessment and year-end Board Examination.” Recently, the opposite central board – Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) – had announced to scale back their syllabus for sophistication 10 and 12 by 25% to “cover up for the loss in study time hours of study in board classes classes during the present session 2020-21” As reported by The Expersts earlier, instead of recommending the reduction of a full chapter, the Board asked NCERT to suggest the idea about the study structure by topics which are important or should remove the repeated content or customised outcomes associated with it are being covered under other topics of chapters”. which means only important topics will be taught.
